Drill hole GD-26-436 from the Surebet Zone, intersected an extensive mineralized interval near the surface that assayed 7.38 g/t AuEq over 35.7 meters, including 19.51 g/t AuEq over 8.32 meters. This entire interval is characterized by veining, alteration, and anomalous gold grades throughout its length with multiple high-grade subintervals. It also contains several occurrences of visible gold to the naked eye (VG-NE), native silver associated with galena, sphalerite, pyrrhotite and chalcopyrite in quartz-sulphide stockwork and breccia hosted in sandstones…
Beyond the Headline
Another very strong batch of results from Goliath on Surebet. The standout is Hole GD-26-436 which returned 7.38 g/t AuEq (3.02 g/t Au & 264.37 g/t Ag) over 35.7m, including 19.51 g/t AuEq (3.74g/t Au & 975.34 g/t Ag) over 8.32 m and 46.49 g/t AuEq (6.98 g/t Au & 2447.25 g/t Ag) over 3.10 m. Other holes returned 2.81 g/t Au over 9.0 m, 4.22 g/t Au over 5.8 m, and at Eldorado 3.07 g/t Au over 11.9 m, including 11.42 g/t over 2.9 m. Goliath has completed 31,994 m in 52 of a planned 98 holes, with seven rigs working. This is a very strong release confirming repeatability and continuity of high grade Au-Ag mineralization at Surebet. A near-surface 35.7m interval averaging 7.38 g/t AuEq is exceptional. Surebet increasingly looks like a substantial high-grade Au-Ag system rather than a collection of spectacular but isolated veins.
