Beyond the Headline

Canadian Copper reported that five consecutive holes, MB26-06 through MB26-10, intersected broad disseminated, banded, stringer and locally massive/semi-massive sulphide zones west of the current Murray Brook deposit resource. Chalcopyrite occurs in all five holes and sphalerite in selected intervals. The core lengths of these sulphide zones range from 49.7m to 77.1m (Figures 7-1 and 7-2)..

The drilling extends the sulphide system 25 m west of the existing deposit footprint. This area is particularly significant because historical hole MB19-01 intersected 26.4 m @ 1.35% Cu. Assays from the five new holes remain pending.

The Company further reported that 2,205m of drilling has been completed to date. Drilling first began in the Eastern Area and will continue towards the west. An additional 1,300m remain to be completed in the current program.  In addition, a new geophysical target +600 meters west of the known deposit will be tested.

Comments

Visually the latest drill results look encouraging but a full comment on their significance awaits release of the assay results.
