Beyond the Headline
Blue Lagoon has started its previously announced 10,000-m Phase I drill program at its 100%-owned Dome Mountain Gold Mine near Smithers. The program combines near-mine resource expansion with testing regional discovery targets across the ~22,000 ha property. The main targets include the Alpine veins with ~1.4 km exposed strike, the McKendrick prospect where historical drilling returned 11.64 g/t Au over 2.5 m, the Chance structural zone/Flat Chance vein, Forks prospect, a cadmium-in-soil anomaly, and probably most importunately from a near-term valuation standpoint, the down-dip extension of the Boulder Vein beneath the existing resource. Blue Lagoon is targeting an expanded resource estimate in early-to-mid 2027.
