New assay results extend gold and tungsten mineralization 350 m east of the easternmost drilling completed in 2025, with additional drilling (assays pending) continuing to intersect RIRGS gold mineralization a further 60 m to the east…
Beyond the Headline
This is a very strong release. Hole DDRCRG-26-071 returned 256.9 m @ 0.84 g/t Au, including 159.2 m @ 1.14 g/t Au and 7.3 m @ 8.89 g/t Au. Other step-outs included 43.5 m @ 1.29 g/t Au in DDRCRG-26-059 within 217.9 m @ 0.52 g/t Au, and 82.0 m @ 0.75 g/t Au in DDRCRG-061 within 322.0 m @ 0.50 g/t Au. Rhosgobel mineralization has now been traced by drilling across the entire 1.6 km of strike length drilled to date, with new drilling extending it approximately 350 m east of the 2025 drilling and pending holes extending another approximately 60 m farther east (Figure 1). The deposit remains open along strike and at depth.
These holes further strengthen the likelihood of Rhosgobel becoming a very large, near-surface bulk-tonnage intrusion-related gold deposit. The combination of very broad widths of >1 g/t Au with higher grade intervals included is the ideal scenario for a significant bulk tonnage deposit (Figures 2 and 3). Mineralization is also now documented to extend from surface to at least 650 m depth, substantially below the current pit-constrained mineral resource. Assays are currently pending for all remaining holes that have been completed to date this year.
Seven (7) drill rigs are currently turning across the RC Gold Project with approximately 45,000 metres in 101 holes completed across the Blackjack, Eiger, and Rhosgobel deposits and the Saddle, Contact, and Bear Paw Breccia Zones so far this year. The scale and potential of this gold system continue to grow, with a significant amount of drilling results still to come from the ongoing 60,000m drill program, the largest program ever conducted at RC Gold.
The tungsten story is also continuing to grow. Sitka on May 14, 2026 reported an updated mineral resource estimate for the Rhosgobel deposit for the first time including tungsten and silver that consists of a pit-constrained Inferred Mineral Resource of 100.68 million tonnes grading 0.70 g/t Au, 0.90 g/t Ag and 0.051% WO3 containing 2,250,000 oz Au, 2,926,000 oz Ag and 51,345 tonnes of WO3 (tungsten trioxide).
In this September 9, 2026 release, Sika reported a number of holes with significant tungsten values over long intercepts many higher grade than the MRE inferred resource grade as shown in Table 1.

The metallurgical results are especially important. Preliminary testing recovered 84.7% of the tungsten into rougher concentrate, using conventional flotation, with a mass pull of less than 1%. Gold recovery averaged 94.3%. That suggests tungsten recovery could potentially be integrated into the gold flowsheet. Tungsten as a by-product from a large gold operation could be an attractive byproduct adding to the overall economics. Further metallurgical testing will be required to confirm that a marketable tungsten concentrate can be produced but the initial test and widespread nature of the tungsten mineralization are very positive.
