Sitka Gold is pleased to announce that it has completed its previously announced accelerated acquisition of a 100% interest in the Clear Creek Property from the Receiver of Victoria Gold Corp., following the granting of an approval and vesting order by the Ontario Superior Court of Justice (Commercial List) on August 18, 2026…
Beyond the Headline
Sitka announced that it had completed the accelerated acquisition of 100% of Clear Creek from the receiver of Victoria Gold, giving Sitka consolidated 100% ownership of the entire 447-km² RC Gold Project. Clear Creek is particularly valuable because it contains the new Rhosgobel deposit hosting a 2.25 Moz inferred mineral resource at 0.70 g/t Au plus additional targets Pukelman-Contact and Bear Paw. Sitka is allocating 45,000 m of its current 60,000-m program to the Clear Creek property: 30,000m of drilling is planned at Rhosgobel to follow up on the initial diamond drilling conducted by Sitka in 2025; 10,000m of drilling has been allocated for the Pukelman-Contact zone; and 5,000m of drilling will follow up on initial drilling results from Bear Paw and test other high-priority targets. Five (5) drills are currently active at Clear Creek. The transaction involved payment of $6 million cash plus a 5% NSR that Sitka can reduce to 2% for $10 million. This is a strategically important and positive transaction as it eliminates the uncertainty created by the Victoria Gold receivership and gives Sitka complete control of an increasingly large Tombstone Belt gold system. The deal was done with a cash payment rather than shares to avoid having a large sale of shares by the receiver.
