KLDC CV

KIRKLAND LAKE DISCOVERIES

Ontario, Canada

Integration of the analytical data with geological logging, alteration, mineralization, structural interpretation and regional geophysics has identified multiple fertile hydrothermal systems and established a district-scale framework for vectoring toward higher-priority discovery opportunities…

Beyond the Headline

KLDC has completed approximately 19,000 m of regional drilling and now interprets three overlapping mineral-system signatures across KL West: polymetallic VMS-style, intrusion-related Au, and structurally controlled Au systems. Thirty-eight holes are reported to have intersected intrusion-related signatures and 27 intersected polymetallic signatures. Winnie Lake remains the most advanced target, with a best current composite of 5.57 g/t Au over 1.13 m. Wolverine Bend has a large potassic-hematite alteration footprint, while Cross Roads–Nine Mile shows strong Mo-W-Bi-Te signatures that may vector toward an intrusive centre. The 19,000m drill program appears to have greatly improved the exploration model and generated several legitimate targets, but KL West still needs a materially stronger discovery hole.
