Most of these holes were drilled well to the southwest from the recent focus at the East Zone, including one hole (26MJ030) that is the first of a two-hole fence testing the western strike extension of the Northeast Zone. The drill also returned to the Central Zone, which has seen only sporadic drilling in recent years, with three holes on the western side of that lode. This round of results also includes three holes into the gap between the Central and Northeast Zones…

Beyond the Headline

  • Firefox reported assay results from 7 additional holes at its 100% owned Mustajärvi Gold Project in Lapland, Finland on Sep 14/26.
  • Standout hole is 26MJ030 in the Northeast Zone, which returned three mineralized intervals, most significantly 7.0 m @ 11.36 g/t Au, including 1.0 m @ 57.9 g/t Au with visible gold. Higher in the same hole is an exceptional 2.0 m @ 44.65 g/t Au, plus 11.5 m @ 1.11 g/t Au.
  • This hole is a 56-m step-out and extends the high-grade core of the Northeast Zone more than 50 m westward. Results are still pending from 26MJ042, which undercuts these new intersections.
  • The Central Zone also had promising results: Hole 26MJ026 intersected 3.95 m @ 6.57 g/t Au, including 1.0 m @ 14.9 g/t and 0.75 m @ 14.45 g/t, at only ~69 m downhole. Hole 26MJ027 returned 3.1 m @ 2.22 g/t.
  • 3 holes testing geophysical and structural targets in the gap between Central and Northeast were essentially unsuccessful, so two zones may not form one continuous mineralized body.
