FIREFOX GOLD CORP

Finland

Since the initial discovery in 2018, the Company’s focus has been on exploring the three known kilometres of mineralization along the MSZ, making new discoveries at the Northeast and East Zones. Now that FireFox is working towards completing its initial resource estimate for the project early in 2027, the arrival of a second drill rig has allowed testing of a broader array of targets across the property. Lammas is one of several such priority targets that are receiving their first drill tests as targets for future resource growth at Mustajärvi.

Beyond the Headline

Firefox reported Hole 26MJ032 discovered the new Lammas Zone on its Mustajärvi Project in Lapland, Finland with an intersection of 21.0 m @ 4.13 g/t Au from 114m, including 1.0 m @ 21.6 g/t, followed after only 3 m of internal waste by another 4.2 m @ 3.41 g/t Au. The discovery is approximately 750–950 m east-southeast of the East Zone and more than 650 m from previous drilling. Significantly, this was the first drill hole into the target.

This discovery was built on strong baseline technical work. FireFox had identified a NE-trending structure using magnetics, anomalous gold in base-of-till sampling and a strong FLEM conductor. The discovery hole intersected intense albite alteration, quartz-carbonate-tourmaline veining/brecciation and substantial pyrite. Two immediate follow-up holes tested approximately 250 m of the structure, and both encountered similar alteration and pyrite-tourmaline veining; assays on these holes are pending. FireFox cautions correctly that similar-looking alteration does not guarantee significant gold.

Mustajärvi is continuing to grow with excellent results.
