- Drilling at the Gamma trend to follow up structure, alteration, and anomalous uranium geochemistry intersected during the winter 2026 drill program
- Drilling at the Bravo trend to follow up weak uranium mineralization proximal to structure and alteration intersected by historical drilling and within a magnetic low trend extending northeast to Cigar Lake
- Summer drilling is fully funded and will comprise up to 2,500 metres
Beyond the Headline
Cosa announced the has start of an up-to-2,500-m program at Darby, its 70/30 JV with Denison Mines, located 10 km west of Cameco’s Cigar Lake mine. The program targets the Gamma and Bravo trends.
At Gamma, winter drilling identified a >100-m-wide structural/alteration zone containing graphitic basement faulting, >30 m of unconformity relief, sandstone/basement alteration and anomalous uranium geochemistry. Uranium mineralization has been intersected by multiple historical holes on the Gamma trend immediately north of the project. At Bravo, historical holes encountered graphitic structures, alteration and uranium mineralization associated with >25 m of unconformity relief. Cosa interprets Bravo to lie within a magnetic-low trend extending towards Cigar Lake to the northeast.
This provides another opportunity for Cosa in addition to Murphy Lake North. The Company is well financed to carry out the planned program with C$16 million in the treasury.
