Beyond the Headline
Core Silver announced that has its acquisition of Arcus Development Group through the previously announced court-approved arrangement has now been formally completed. Core issued 21,221,140 shares to Arcus shareholders on a 1:1 exchange ratio. Former Arcus shareholders consequently own approximately 39.2% of the combined company’s 54.14 million outstanding shares which is still relatively low. Arcus becomes a wholly owned Core Silver subsidiary.
The principal attraction is Touleary, which was discussed with the September 9, 2026 drilling announcement. A 3,000-m diamond program is already underway, targeting the Discovery Zone and surrounding VMS targets. Historical drilling there includes 2.25 m @ 7.18% Cu, 3.55 g/t Au, 4.30% Zn and 116 g/t Ag, as well as a broader 14.15-m polymetallic intersection.
This acquisition gives the combined company a two-pronged major exploration portfolio: Core’s very large ~1,140 km² Blue property in BC, including the Silver Lime CRD-Porphyry Project in the centre of the property which has seven prospective targets plus the high-grade polymetallic Touleary VMS system in Yukon.
