BCM has contracted Zonge to provide all IP/MT data acquisition services, 2D inversions, and preparation of an IP/MT data acquisition and processing report along with interpretations. The survey is expected to be completed in about 11 days, provided favorable weather conditions prevail at the project site…
Beyond the Headline
Two days after their August 17th release, BCM announced major IP and magnetotelluric (MT) surveys by Zonge International. The purpose of these surveys is to map chargeability/resistivity and deeper electrical signature around the expanding porphyry-skarn system and improve targeting of future holes. This is positive supporting news rather than a catalyst by itself. Given the scale suggested by TK20, MT is particularly appropriate because Thompson Knolls is a deep, largely concealed porphyry system. The geophysics should help determine whether TK8/TK20 are part of a much larger porphyry system and where its best sulphide concentrations are located.
