Beyond the Headline

On July 21, 2026 Puma Exploration announced assay results its inaugural 2,721-metre diamond drilling program at the RIM Gold Zone of its McKenzie Gold Project in Northern New Brunswick.

The program intersected narrow high-grade gold mineralization in multiple shear and extension vein structures, including quartz vein samples that host visible gold (“VG”) and returned best results 42.60 g/t Au over 0.25 m (MK25-20 from 33.25m), 21.86 g/t Au over 0.30 m (MK25-26 from 33.35m), 15.55 g/t Au over 0.30 m  (MK25-41 from 106.40m), and 13.41 g/t Au over 0.25 m (MK25-26 from 43.50m)). These high-grade veins are reported to be located within a broader, lower-grade gold envelope that varies in width from 5 to 20 metres.  Best results from these wider zones are: 0.44g/t Au over 10.90m (MK25-05 from 11.50m), 0.64 g/t Au over 20.10m (MK25-20 from 20.90m) and 0.38 g/t Au over 27.85m including 1.01 g/t Au over 10.40m (MK25-26 from 15.90ml and 33.35m).

Figure 1 shows the location of significant gold occurrences on the McKenzie Gold Project and Figure 2 is a 3D model of the distribution of the gold grade in the Rim Gold Zone.

Comments

While drilling at the RIM Gold Zone has intersected high-grade gold near surface the widths of the veins are very narrow.  Much of the overall grade in the wider zones reported is based largely on these high-grade quartz veins.  The tonnage potential at an economic grade based in the are drilled thus far in the RIM Gold Zone seems low.  Work in progress will hopefully expand this target into areas with denser zones of veining with more potential to outline a sizable deposit.

The Company has had major delays with assay turnaround and has recently switched to a new service provider to improve assay turnaround.
